SangsLegal News  Children born out of void or voidable marriages are entitled to inherit a share of their deceased parents' property: Supreme Court


 In a landmark judgement the Supreme Court on Friday held that  children born out of void or voidable marriages are entitled to inherit a share of their deceased parents' property, which would have been apportioned to them in a hypothetical division of the Hindu joint family property. However, they are prohibited from claiming rights to properties belonging to any family member apart from their parents.
