The Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) in Jammu has recently granted a disability pension to a member of the military who sustained injuries while on the way to the railway station to secure tickets for a return to his military unit. The tribunal opined that the incident is associated with his military duties, thereby qualifying it as a ' incidence of service'.
